In Nigeria, it is called suya, in Cameroon, it is called soya, in Ghana, it is called, "chinchinga". Suya is a spicy meat skewer which is a popular food item in West Africa. Ingredients of Home made suya(tsire)

  1. It's of Meat.
  2. You need of Ginger.
  3. Prepare of Garlic.
  4. You need of Nutmeg.
  5. Prepare of Guli.
  6. You need of Maggi.
  7. Prepare of Veggies.
  8. Prepare of Veg.oil.
  9. It's of Grinded pepper.

It is also eaten in Sudan, referred to as "Agashe". Suya is generally made with skewered beef, ram, or chicken. Innards such as kidney, liver and tripe are also used. The thinly sliced meat is marinated in various spices which include peanut cake, salt, vegetable oil and other flavorings, and then barbecued.

Home made suya(tsire) step by step

  1. Wash and cook the meat with ginger,garlic,nutmeg and maggi till it soft.
  2. In a clean bowl soak the guli guli and add maggi and grinded pepper in it.
  3. Then put the meat in side the soaked guli and mix them well.
  4. Put oil in a frying pan and on the fire add the mixture in side the oil and fry it until the guli guli is dry.
  5. Garnish the suya with veggies and serve it at any time.
