- Prepare 2 lbs (2 inch) of thick Beef meat (see above) cut into 2 - 2 1/2 inch chunks.

- You need 1 Table spoon of Turmeric.

Shrimp are excellent as kabobs but take only a few minutes to cook if using raw shrimp-so if making them keep in mind whatever you skewer on with them wont cook well. I would use good beef instead. That sounds good.can I come for dinner :D. I find that making kabobs does encourage adults and children alike to eat more vegetables.

- Place the meat in a large bowl and rub it all over with oil.
- Mix all spices then pour over the meat, mix well..
- Let it sit at room temperature for 30- 45 minutes.
- Heat grill to high, then place the meat on the grill (no need for skewers!). Turning every 2 minutes..
- Grill for about 8 minutes for medium rare (6 for rare, 10 and above if you like your fine meat totally dead....).
- Serve immediately..
