How to Prepare Yummy BBQ nachos

Delicious, fresh and tasty barbecue.

BBQ nachos. Arrange chips on a large serving platter. Top with BBQ sauce and then smother with the Nacho Cheese/Queso Sauce. Sprinkle generously with rub and then serve.

BBQ nachos And I never would have thought to try BBQ sauce on nachos but it was really yummy. My sister-in-law added sour cream and lime juice to it and I watched her lick the plate! This is one of my favorite snacks. You can have BBQ nachos using 9 ingredients and 12 steps. Here is how you achieve that.

Ingredients of BBQ nachos

  1. Prepare 1-2 lbs of Chuck roast/ pork roast/ chicken breast.
  2. Prepare 1 bottle of Bbq sauce.
  3. You need 2 of Garlic cloves minced.
  4. It's 1 of Onion.
  5. Prepare to taste of Pepper.
  6. You need 1/4 c of Dales seasoning low sodium.
  7. You need 1 bag of Doritos (coolRanch/ nacho/ or spicy nacho).
  8. Prepare 1 c of water/chicken broth.
  9. It's 1 jar of nacho cheese (optional).

It is a weird combo but it really is good.. In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients and mix well. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat to simmer. Add the barbecue sauce and cook until the sauce has reduced by about half, about five minutes.

BBQ nachos instructions

  1. In a crock pot on high heat if partial frozen (8hrs) or low if completely thawed (4-8hrs).
  2. Pour in the chicken broth. then add 1/2 the onion and 1 garlic clove.
  3. Put roast or your choice of meat in the crock pot.
  4. Pour the dale seasoning making sure to cover the meat.
  5. Then season with remaining onion garlic and pepper.
  6. Place lid and cook until very tender so you can shred it.
  7. Shred meat. (Note: fastest way is to use an electric hand mixer.).
  8. Add your favorite bottle of bbq sauce and mix well.
  9. On plate place chips (if you place chips leave a whole in a middle like a doughnut so chips will not get soggy).
  10. Then add meat to middle and top with cheese.
  11. Enjoy.
  12. Side notes: for best results infuse meat with just a little bit of vinegar and seasonings of your choice. Instead of using fresh onion and garlic you can use powder to taste) you can also mix it up and add jerk sauce (find in condiment sections) instead of bbq sauce best with chicken. Some times I top with nacho cheese but it’s really good without it..

In a large skillet, spread out two large handfuls of tortilla chips. Layer with half of the barbecue chicken, followed by half of the cheese, onion, tomato, bacon, and parsley.
